Project Description
One of Barnett’s more contemporary designs; nestled in the quaint neighborhood of Belle Meade in Nashville, Tennessee.
Barnett’s most passionate gifts is historic preservation projects; taking century old homes and restoring them to a more contemporary infrastructure without losing their authentic beauty. While this was an original design of Mitchell Barnett, he was able to combine his love for the historic side of architecture with modern technique.
The exterior possesses a beautiful hint of antebellum infrastructure with its oversized porch, detailed pillars and highlighted accents along the roof; combined with the popular modern day beauty of stained white brick and white trim.
Hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and natural light echo throughout the interior to enhance his love for ‘pre-to-post modern’ homes.
Each room is highlighted with a different chandelier-type lighting to add a new warmth and diversity to each room. Moving into the bathroom with our favorite form of accented walls, the charcoal grey stained tile, you are comforted by yet another unique chandelier and porcelain style tub.
