A family of three from South Island, New Zealand has turned their tiny, energy-efficient mobile home home into a magical castle home. When folded-up, the truck looks no different from other mobile homes. When parked and unfolded, the house truck immediately transforms into a fantasy castle with a lofty roof and two lifting turrets at the back.

Inside the truck castle are beautifully crafted living spaces with delicate decoration. The kitchen is the focal point of the home, complete with full-sized appliances and furniture.

The second floor of the mobile home is comprised of a hexagon-shaped sleeping loft, and a rooftop balcony where family members can relax on a hammock and enjoy a panoramic view of their surroundings.

Apart from its impressive appearance, the home is also completely off the grid. With solar panels installed on the roof, and water tanks built below the truck, the castle home is able to capture and store rain water and power the home through solar power.
