Fagor Adds Light-Colored Cooktop to Induction Line

An alternative to black induction cooktops, this light gray surface blends with the counter.

Fagor is aiming to streamline the kitchen’s aesthetics with a new color for its 30-inch induction cooktop. The lighter color, Bonita Grey, is designed to match light-colored counters and coordinate with cabinetry via its color match Pantone 402C. The cooktop uses scratch- and stain-resistant Schott Ceran glass that’s also designed to stay cool and clean easily, the company says. Its eight-point electrical safety system includes an overflow technology that prevents spills from baking onto the cooktop’s surface as well as an anti-overheating system. Self-adjusting burners use a magnetic field to determine the size of the cookware being used and heat only that space to avoid excessive energy use. Fagor. 800.207.0806. www.fagoramerica.com.
