Project Description
The owners had the option of building three smaller sized townhouses on their land 40 minutes drive to Melbourne CBD. Instead they chose to build their dream home with a second townhouse in the back which they would keep as an investment property to generate rental income- one of the benefits of a dual occupancy development.
AuArchitecture designed a 400sqm home with grand curved stair leading to the sleeping zone upstairs or the media room in the basement. Six bedrooms, private living areas, a large family room overlooking the children’s courtyard with a plunge pool and a large games room makes this a dream home for the clients.
The home is bathed in sunlight and cross ventilation throughout.
The northerly aspect has been exploited to the max to provide comfort to the residents throughout the year.
