Project Description

Fat City is a high rise mixed use development in Fort Lauderdale with retail, restaurants, offices, and residential units. Fat City is located in Flagler Village the once neglected warehouse and residential district has become Fort Lauderdale’s newest spot as an emerging arts & cultural district and one of the trendiest neighborhood’s downtown. The Traina Companies, a Delray and New York City based real estate investment company has retained Adache Group for the design of the development. The iconic 2 tower 30 floor project was conceptualized around the idea of creating a mixed use development where technology and culture are intertwined to create a compelling experiential destination for residents, business and the community. The contemporary geometric design encompasses the innovative and technological style of the mixed use project. Fat City is also located in the Transit Oriented District, with the Brightline, a new passenger rail system that is being developed by All Aboard Florida, will provide high-speed rail service between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. The system’s brand-new Fort Lauderdale station, is less than a half a mile away from the Fat City site.
