Project Description
DMAC Architecture spearheads the revamp of the iconic Chicago Midtown Athletic Club, housing one of the largest indoor tennis facilities worldwide and a three-story hotel. As head architect of Midtown, DMAC introduces a new genre of lifestyle destination, transforming the facility into Chicago’s premier athletic club.
Helmed by Founder and Principal Dwayne MacEwen, the firm leads the architecture and interiors of the 575,000 square foot progressive club and hotel, as well as the entire shopping complex surrounding the property. Opening this summer, the iconic landmark is being converted into something on a whole new level, boasting four pools, an indoor-outdoor turf field, two floors of state-of-the-art fitness and mind & body studios, a 55-room boutique hotel, dining spaces and much more.
