Project Description
Rail Stop is an upscale, contemporary restaurant in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. Located in what once was Brighton Station which was built in the 1840s to welcome commuter passengers and tourists to the neighborhood, owners Beauport Hospitality Group wanted to honor the timeless culture and tradition of the community while embracing a new era of urbanism. With this vision in mind, they turned to Windover Construction, who worked with interior designer, Peter Niemitz, and architects, Beacon Architectural Associates, to create a vintage, rustic interior with barrel-vaulted ceilings, antique chandeliers and seating, reminiscent of a historic locomotive boxcar.
Located at Boston Landing, a new mixed-use development with office spaces, retail stores, restaurants and residential units, Rail Stop is the first restaurant to open in the development which is also home to practice facilities for the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. Rail Stop serves contemporary New England cuisine alongside modern twists on classic “Golden Age” cocktails.
