Project Description
The design of the new Saint Kilian Church commemorates the church centennial and supports the growing parish and
academic center. Based on a distinguishable basilica design, the church is cruciform in shape when viewed from above. Although the interior of the nave is spacious, a parishioner is never more than 100 feet from the altar as full participation in the sacraments is vital to a church community.
With seating for 1,200 in the main worship area, the design incorporates a full range of spaces, including meeting rooms, offices, hall with a commercial kitchen and other facilities to support worship and other Parish functions. Complete with stained glass, specialized lighting and other unique details, the design was developed to serve as a legacy of the community’s faith.
