Project Description
The Shores Innovation Hub, located just off Landis Green on Florida State University’s main campus, is an interdisciplinary program aimed to provide students with an innovative, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment in which they can discover, imagine and design solutions. The Hub centers around an open collaboration space, supported by a fabrication lab, virtual reality room, help desk, faculty offices, and a variety of meeting and study spaces. The entire space operates on the concept of an ‘open-door’ policy, welcoming students, faculty, and visitors to see and experience first-hand the growing generation of entrepreneurs. This is the first innovation space of this kind on a public university campus.
